  1. Thanks, this is a real dissapointment. I find a free workaround with this online tool though https://www.photopea.com/. You just need to hold ctrl when selecting and moving the image and it transposes automatically.
  2. Hi, I need to contort a screenshot into an image of a laptop. I need to do this all the time but am struggling with designer! I have read one thread that says this would be made available in v1.7 but I'm using v1.9 and can't find it. Another thread says it can't be done without also purchasing affinity photo!? I'm hoping this isn't true as this would be a major dissapointment as this is something I need to do all the time. Any clarification would be appreciated. Thanks, John
  3. Hi, I'm using a vignette effect but I want the edges to be completely black, how do I do this? I'm using Affinity Designer. Thanks, john
  4. Hi How do I create hyperlinks in Affinity Designer? Thanks
  5. Hi I'm stripping out assets from a PDF by selecting the assets I want, copying and then selecting new from clipboard. Usually when I do this when the asset fills the canvas open creating the new one but I am now facing an issue where one of the assets doesn't fill the canvas in the usual way and there is white space around it? When I export to SVG and select export WITHOUT background it still includes it? Does anyone know what's happening here? Thanks
  6. Hi, I know to to crop a photo to a single shape by dragging the photo into say a circle for example BUT..... How do I crop to multiple shapes at the same time as it's a technique I have seen used recently on a design. So if I have 3 rectangles on a page and I want a portion of the photo to be shown in each of the rectangles. So I want to treat the 3 individual rectangles as one shape effectively to then drag a photo into it. Apologies in advance if this makes no sense. Thanks, John
  7. Hi All, New to affinity and have a question. I have 2 shapes on top of each other. A Rectangle which fits the page and a swoosh which is larger than the page. I want to group this as one image which I have done but only keep the bits which are visible on the page and ignore the rest. How do I do this? Thanks, John
