I have 2 projects, the first project the heart gets a 3d shape and have other images in group. But the other project with the same heart with 3d effect, it doesnt work with images in the ”heart” group. I cannot understand what i have made different, and how to correct it.

Yes this started from IOS 17, the brushes have now become completely useless sadly.

Like my previous post, the app is suddenly laggy sometimes, it has always been butterly smooth. And when using brushes and pther tools it sometimes gets ”splatterly” i dont know how to describe it really, lets say i paint black in a mask layer using very fine like 2 or 3 pixels wide brush, all of a sudden the fine line jumps and splatter pixels whay off the 3 pixels that have been set… what is going on with this great app..?

I actually found that when i used the smart pen tool to make the selections, it sometimes changed from o,o pixels to o,2 pixels witch then created these lines.

I want to chop up a persons face. I used the smart pen to make a selection, then cut and paste in to new pixel layer. But when i move the ”pieces” around, there are som ghost lines left from where the selection was made. What is that?

If i open JUST this image everything works just fine. But NOT within another project, then the entire image gest copied. I have also tried this with other images, it DOES NOT WORK within another project, is it some kind of bug?

I have tried this in other projects and it works just fine. It is JUST IN THIS project its completely impossible, how can that be. I have even tried deleting the masks attached to this image, but no. Impossible.

I am going completely insane here!!!! I just want to COPY THIS SELECTION to a new layer containing just the selection. I cant use duplicate, i cant copy and paste… the entire layer with masks just gets copied. Please help!

My affinity photot has suddenly bacome laggy and slow. And strange artifacts are showing in various menus etc. Anyone knows whats happening. See image..

Im sorry but for us non professionals its really hard to understand what you are talking about. I actually found a solution today, just make a selection, then longpress the screen and tap delete… cant get easier than that right?

As usual trying to recreate something seems impossible. Lets say i create an elipse, the i want to completely remove parts of it like in this image… HOW do i do this in the easiest way??

Well isnt the world of photoshop alike apps completely wonderful! I have done hundreds of these meme like pics and always used fill layers, but in this specific one it just seems completely impossible. The fill layer does NOTHING and there is no reason why, oh how i love it! In the 7th circle of hell i am sure that photoshop and affinity are dancing in perfect union!

That doesnt work here. Its not a single shape, its many lines that i have formed into letters. I have grouped each letter. It seems impossible to fill that.

Hi. How can i fill a shape without rasterizing it? If i rasterize and the fill it looks horrible with gaps close to the lines?
