Affinity photo on iPad Pro. Every project starts crashing after a point. Is worthless without being able to finish projects.?

Crashes after a point or any time after placing from photos. Have tried duplicating, import export, delete layers. Not sure if it’s what I’m doing wrong or affinity photo. Hoping for solution before giving up on it
