Dan, not getting any improvements, I chose the radical method: I reset my Mac and reinstalled everything. Affinity Designer now works great. Thank you for your help. Best regards.

Dan, I unchecked the Medal Hardware Acceleration, to no avail. Quitting the app was even longer. Don't you think I should uninstall/install the app ?

Thanks, Dan for your fast answer. As a newbie with Affinity Designer, I didn't make any personal changes in the Preferences as you can see on the screen capture attached. By the way, it also took me more than one minute to quit the app ... Best regards,

Hi, Affinity Designer is very slow on Mac OS 10.15. (I use a 2016 MacBook Pro) The launch is fast, but it takes more than one minute for the interface to display. Is this slowness specific to me? Otherwise, do you plan to release an update soon?
