  1. Just a short update on this one. Since there was an update for the Dropbox app on iPad yesterday (sep 9.), so far, everything works now. So I would guess that this issue is to search on their end?
  2. Hi there. Unfortunately, I'm having the ongoing issue that I can't open or import anything out of my dropbox. I only get an error message back. Something about that there was an unknown error, and please try again. I'm having the exact same issue with the Affinity Designer App, by the way. So what I tried so far is: • deleting and reinstalling the Affinity Apps • deleting and reinstalling the Dropbox App • log in and out from Dropbox • iPad restart after doing all of this, it seems to work for like a day or so, but then it goes back to having that error. Strangely though, sometimes I have to press the "try again" button in the error message multiple times, and then I got into my dropbox. But this happens very rarely. I'm (trying to) working with an iPad Pro 12,9" 4. Generation with OS 13.6.1 The screenshot is in german language, but it says: Content is not available. The folder content cannot be shown because of an unknown issue. Try again I hope you guys have any more suggestions for me. Thanks in advance.
  3. Got it. Okay, I think I can work this way. Thank you guys! But still, if there is any developer reading this, PLEASE just copy that quick and simple function from Photoshop 😅
  4. Hm.. you know, the thing is that let's say if I want to exactly select this grey box and I missed the box a little or my selection was too small or whatever. Where do I go from here? I mean, how can I adjust this selection properly? My highly complicated workaround for almost a year now is to create a rectangle (or any other shape) via the rectangle tool, put it in the exact location I want to have my selection, and then command-click on that rectangle layer to have this very selection. That's like 5 steps for one in Photoshop...
  5. Yeah, but I cannot resize it, right? The point is that if you work with a graphic tablet, you need to have an option to adjust the position and the size while selecting, or you will never hit what you want to select. Do you know what I mean?
  6. Hi there, I was wondering why this highly important feature does appear in Affinity Designer for iPad but not in Affinity Photo for iPad. Or do I have to turn this on somehow?
  7. Hi there, I do love to work with Affinity Photo, but there is one thing since I moved away from Photoshop what drives me crazy. In Photoshop, whenever I make a selection, I simply can Press (Space) and move or resize the selection on the fly. Is it possible to perform anything like that in Affinity Photo?
  8. Yeah, sorry I was talking about Photo. Awesome! Turning off the Metal setting really did the trick for me. Thanks for the help with this. At least now I am able to work on getting new hardware
  9. Hi there, after I updated to the latest version I noticed a huge difference in performance. Unfortunately I am using not the latest hardware but I know that 1.6 was running fast as hell. I bought the App in the Mac App Store. Is there a way to go back to 1.6? these are my spec: MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) 2,7 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1 GB Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB for me the much better performance was the reason number one to change from photoshop in the first place. I hope there is a solution for this. thanks guys!
