My windows just had to be updated to the latest version of Win 10 and updated to latest of Affinity. I tried to use the color picker tool in the color picker section on the right of the screenlayout and it doesn't pick anything; no color at at.. I just sent in a screen grab of my layers section on that side of affin also which does not work correctly either. help

I see many posts re: layers, I just upgraded to newest version of Affinity. When I try to merge layers, the layers section creates more layers of verious adjustment layers. When I use merge visible, it also creates more adustment layers. I can't get the layers to merge all. What gives. Seems useless now if I can't merge my layers when I want to, and save the image. Am attaching a screenshot showing the layers section as is: I just added any old adjustment layer, then tried to merge visible and this is what happend. The section is on the right. Please help.
