Yes, feel free to close. It’s much more sensitive than any other app, but works.

From the project/file browser, it is impossible to swipe up to dismiss Photo on iPad Pro without home button; the swipe just scrolls up the file thumbnails. This may only be the case when one has enough files to fill the screen. Current work-arounds for me are to use CMD-H or CMD-TAB from keyboard attachment. One can also open PREFERENCES or a specific file, then swipe up.
