I appreciate the help but in practice that is basically the same as drawing a rectangle and setting the height to zero, because what you get is a diagonal through a rectangle, not a line, until you set one dimension to zero, which feels cumbersome. Unless there is a way to force it to vertical or horizontal that I haven’t found.

Hi, I am new to designer on the iPad and need to draw straight lines. I’m used to having a straight line tool but can’t seem to find one. Also didn’t find a tutorial. Closest I have gotten is a rectangle with one zero dimension. Thanks!
