- Application : Affinity Designer
- Version : 2.6.0.3134 (App Store) WIndows 10.0.19045
- Very easy to reproduce - Here's reproduce steps on new document:
1. Create a new document (A4 or anything)
2. Create a small circle.
3. View > New View then split the new view into a new window
- The new view will serve as birds-eye view and main view (with toolbars and etc) will work as editing view.
- Whether the new view into same monitor or external monitor is regardless.
4. Set the birds-eye view zoom level as zoom-to-fit, Set the editing view zoom level as 500% to edit the small circle.
5. Select Pencil tool and and turn on the stabilizer to see crosshair while drawing a new curve.
6. Draw a line in edit area then modify the line using Node tool a bit
- Expected behaviour :
- The crosshair size of pencil tool is consistant on both of view relative to their zoom level.
- Actual behaviour :
- The size is not consistant - in editing view, the cursor and stabilizer length is too large to handle properly
- Node tool is being also affected by this - the curve node mouse picking is very inaccurate and misses picking intent.
- Workaround : Quickly zoom-in then out cures a brief time. But the error comes back when trying to modify a curve again.
