  1. Hello, first of all, i would like to thank you for your great work, i am using Designer since 2019 and Publisher since the Beta came out and both Programs are already very capable and user friendly! I recently had two commercial projects involving bw images and noticed a strange behaviour: when using a gradient map to unify the tonal values, for example setting a black point at 50-40-50-100, the values seem to get reverted to some internally defined black point 78-68-58-94 in the adjustment layer while the color picker in the image shows 0-0-0-99 at a dark spot of the image, also the exported Pdf shows no cmy values and the files got noticably smaller. This behavior makes the gradient map pretty useless and unpredictable. When overlaying pictures with a solid color rectangle in color mode the resulting values also seem to fall back to some unpredictable conversion black tone but it doesn't kill the color information. Strangely, when using an hsl layer it works exactly like in PS at 0 saturation: 50-50-50-100 in normal and 34-34-34 100 in color mode, so i ended using this workaround with a selective color adjustment layer above. The color settings of the images and the Document were eci iso coated v2 300% thanks and all the best, Martin clari4.afdesign
