I'm working on a bunch of dog portraits. I need them to be 24x36 inches, 300 dpi. I know it's not the best format for good quality, but I'm exporting them as JPGs. I need the files to be 20 mb or less for the site I'm uploading them to. The first one I did, the Chihuahua, gave me no issues, and came out at about 12 mb. I was shocked when I exported the second one, the beagle, and it was four times the size!
I created both images exactly the same way and went through the exact same steps to get to the final image for both. I have re-done them both from the beginning (except for re-drawing, of course) countless times, trying to figure out what I did differently. Export settings were identical, document settings were identical... I'm coming up with nothing! Could it be because the Beagle has a bit less white space? I'm having to lower the quality of the Beagle to get it under 20 mb, and I'd rather not do that if there's some hidden something I did that caused the larger file size.
