851/5000 hello dear affinity photo users, i have now started analog photography and wanted to digitize my color negatives myself. for this I placed the color negative on a white, illuminated background and photographed it with the camera. now i have opened the file at affinity photo and unfortunately i don't quite understand how i have to proceed here. in tutorials it is shown that you have to work with the white balance first, but i don't know how exactly i should do it in the program. then i have to invert the colors and i do that with the graditation curve, in which i drag the point from top right to bottom left and do the same with the other side .. and now? I'm not getting any further here .. maybe you have some advice for me? I would be very thankful! And please excuse my English ;) dearest greetings Emily

I still don’t get it, I am sorry. if you see my attached file, you can see a picture from my gallery on my iPad. i still don’t understand why AP shows me the pictures with ‚raw‘ and opens the file directly with the tools and not the ‚developing‘. sorry for this! greets emily

hey friends, i am still learning how to use ap & there is something i really don't understand ... i always take photos in raw. when i open a photo with ap i can see "raw" on all my pictures in my gallery. usually the first step on ap is to develop the picture and then you can use all the other tools. when i open some picture from my gallery on ap there is no first step of developing the picture, i can start directly with the tools. some other pictures i first need to develop. i was wondering why. i thought raw files always starts with the developing, not directly with the tools. i hope someone can help me & i apologize for my english. thanks in adavance & best wishes emily

I am very sorry, today is the second day I use affinity photo .. i was wondering why I do not have the icons at the top on the left side .. there should be something like tone mapping and developer persona or not? Also on left side there should be some more tools or not? i am a bit confused, sorry see attached a screenshot

Yesterday I buyed the affinity photo app for my new iPad Pro [2018]. I own a fujifilm xt20 camera. I putted some raw files on my iPad I tried to opened them in The affinity photo app ... and nothing works!!!! Every time I wanna upload a raw file the Programm crashes and i have to start the Programm new. Why does the Programm do not support the raw files from fujifilm!? No I can not use the Programm ... what’s the problem? Is affinity photo going to make it work as soon as possible?
