    Since this update after about 15 minutes the programme has used all of my Mac's application memory then crashes forcing me re- boot - any suggestions ?

    Excellent - thank you MEB, worked as you described, I re-started Affinity and re-loaded the raw file. Great news.

    Hi, I also have a Canon 80D, Apple has now updated the Raw list and have included the 80D - Photo's now opens the raw files. Do you think it will be long before I can open them in Affinity ? Cheers Paul
