Hi all, referred here from Twitter. On Affinity Designer, whenever I'm trying to change the font after using/selecting text I created using the Artistic Text Tool, the app keeps crashing. I see the little rainbow umbrella every time immediately after I've clicked the drop-down arrow and it stays until I force quit the app. I tried leaving it for an hour and it just stayed the same. I've tried: -restarting my Mac -checking Font Book for any custom fonts in the User menu and there are none -new documents -existing documents And the same issue is occurring. I've also tried using one of the other user accounts (which actually has many custom fonts installed in the User section of Font Book) and funnily enough everything works perfectly on that account. I have the administrator account and can't delete it because there's just too much on it. Please let me know if there's any information I can provide such as specs of my device, etc. I'm running the latest versions of macOS and Affinity.
On the last version, on mac hight sierra, i'am unable to open my fonts menu... without crashing.... i restore the original mac fonts back... no change.. color wheel turning and turning again... i'ma with a customer this morning, unable to work... help please quick !!!
Yo, I added this font https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Graduate to the system and now Affinity Designer hangs up after trying to open the font dropdown menu. Not before, not after, immediately after the font browser is clicked. Tried to relaunch and reinstall program, didn't help. Is there a fix for this?
I'm running into this issue as well. I've not installed any other fonts. I'm running 10.13.3 and as soon as I click the drop down, the program freezes and shows an not responsive. I saw there were fonts not downloaded in the font book, so I downloaded all of the fonts to check to make sure that wasn't an issue, did not fix it. Any chance this is getting worked on? Without being able to change fonts, this program is dead in the water for me.
