  1. One of the things I really like about affinity designer is its ability to import pdf files. Ok there can be a few font issues as the fonts used in the Pdf are not necessarily on the system, but... its good. One thing that really grinds my gears is that 99% of Pdf Files are Portrait Orientated and my screen is landscape. This results in scrolling around the page or perhaps attempting to view 2 pages side by side. The problem with 2 pages side by side is they are now too small to read the text in them! They are such a @$%! disaster. Please could we have an import tool which lets us quickly put our pdf files into landscape. Ideal would probably just be to split the portrait page to two columns top half on the left bottom half on the right. Or perhaps give us the option of importing into landscape artboards and moving the content from the left half to the right and then resizing. I think you understand where I am coming from. This is so messed up. Have you ever printed a pdf file just so you could read it hassle free and then shred it. or just become yet another pile of loose leaf a4 sheets. Even adobe acrobat fails to allow a sensible reflow. All I really want is a file that fits my screen and is at a font size i can read , is that too much ? cheers john Even an action as basic as import pdf page cut page in half and put bottom half to the right side of the left would do! 99% of the time its a manual i'm trying to work from and its best on a second screen or a window on the next work space.
