After making a selection with the patch tool that is larger than about 1-inch square (650mm) Affinity Photo will crash when attempting to move the area into my target area, invariably. I was of the position that it may have been the photo I was working on because it began crashing whilst working on another restoration yesterday. I was able to complete the project after a LOT of restarts of Affinity. However, today I began a new project and 10 minutes into the task, whilst making a patch tool selection, it crashed again. I am working on a 300 dpi (4167x3313) RGB 16-bit photo on a Macbook Pro, Catalina version 10.15.7 with 16GB of ram. I have attached the file I was working on. Thanks, 6.afphoto

Affinity Photo 1.8.4 crashes when using the patch tool on Mac 10.13.6 High Sierra. Whenever I use the patch tool and click to set the patch, spinning ball appears, then eventually AP crashes. I don't want to update my Mac since I still use the stand alone Lightroom 6. Occasionally AP will crash with the healing brush tool also. Attached screen shot of problem report.
