  1. I would like to know if there is LUT or similar to convert the look and feel of RAW files in Affinity Photo. At present my RAW files look awful when opened in Affinity Photo. I love the program for photo editing and wanted to wean myself off LR, but at the moment that is difficult. Below (top) is an example of a file I opened in LR. It looks as I remember the scene when I took the photo. The image on the bottom was opened in Affinity Photo and as much as I tried I couldn't reproduce the pop and vibrance of the colours compared to LR.

Has anyone else found this issue? The RAW files come from a Panasonic G9. I'd be interested in presets to run when I open files to speed up time spent in the develop module.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Thanks also for sharing. I missed the book offer and I signed up for the video training instead.

I am half way through and enjoying it. I could have done with a separate session on the logic of workflows (with a couple of practice examples) though. I get in all sorts of muddles because I have made adjustments and then tried a mask layer later. I have learned a lot from repeating the red Porsche colour change edit.

It's great training though and I am enjoying it. Well, apart from CTRL Zee? what's Zee? You meant CTRL zed right :-)
