My experience with Canon: forget for Develop persona in AP, you will lose quality. Much more better is to use for raw file the original Canon Digital Photo Professional 4, which you have free with your camera => better quality, posibility to change Picture Style in DPP4, etc. etc. DPP is also better than Adobe Bridge. Save as tiff file after development in DPP4 and then use AP, which is for after job better than Photoshop. This is the best process for Canon raw, without any stupid Adobe tool. :-))

Hi, thank you very much. I bought Lightroom 6 for the RAW part instead of the CC and I'm happy at the moment with the results. I give a 16 bit TIFF sRGB to Affinity and it works. What do you think about this? I never used the Canon Software but I have it on the iMac. Do you think that it's better quality with RAW than Lightroom 6?

    Hi yarin.asanth,

    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Currently this camera/model is only supported on macOS High Sierra when using the Apple (Core Image RAW) engine. The Serif Labs RAW engine doesn't support it no matter the OS used. You will have to wait a little until we add support for it in our engine (no eta).

Thanks for your answer MEB. I hope really that the 6D Mark II RAW Driver comes soon. You know... new camera... no support... Affinity photo... big Frustration.

  3. Hello,

I don't know if this is the right group for my problem. I work with the Mac and the Windows Version of Affinity Photo. For my Canon 6D Mark II I could not find a RAW Driver. On my iMac I was able to fix it by choosing the internal RAW Driver. But in the Windows Software there is no other driver. When I load a RAW photo I only get a pink version of it. The borders are also wrong. What can I do?

    Thank you for your help!
