    • What is your operating system and version (Windows 10, OSX Mojave, iOS 12 etc)?

    Windows 10 Pro (64bit), Version 1903, Build 18362.239

    •    What happened for you (and what you expected to happen)

After loading a bunch of files via drag and drop into Affinity Photo, all the files were displayed correctly
but the zoom value in side th edocument tabs is initialized to 100%. When you click on one tab it is being updated
    to the correct value.

The tab getting the focus after the loading action has finished shows the correct zoom value.

    •    Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did).
      see previous point

    •    Screenshots (very handy) or a screen capture/video.
      see attached video

    •    Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers.
      no

    •    Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware)
not sure. I installed the 1.7.1.404 (<- page not found?) this morning as I wanted to do some photo postprocessing.

  1. Hello to you all at Affinity.

I own a private MacBook Pro for which I have purchased both Affinity Designer and Photo --

making me a huge fan of both products. In my job I am working on a rather old Windows 7 box

which is not that fast. Therefore I would like to try how AD feels on Win7.

To do this I downloaded the AD 1.6 beta and started the installation. But oh my: it keeps

asking for a AD 1.5 Windows license key - which I obviously don't have! I cannot install the AD 1.5

trial as I have do this over a year ago - and was ill for a long time right after installation, so I was

unable to test it properly. I already had asked AD support if there is a chance to extend the trial

period - negative. I got the recommendation to try the next AD beta. Now I am here and tried to

do so but I failed (once more).

    Is there help for me?

    Best regards,

    Stefan Sperling

  2. Hello,

is there really no way to downgrade a Affinity Designer 1.5 file to a 1.4 file?

    Like export or something similair?

The point is this: I desperately try to move my graphics stuff from my Mac to Windows.

Not because I like Windows better but simply because our company has Windows

workstations. Best would be: I can create my stuff on any supported platform

    and move it around.

I would like to do some kind of reality test with the Designer Beta for Windows:

creating new graphics with the Windows Beta and switch to Mac if the Beta

    is not so rock solid.

But from what I read in the forum I am trapped! Once I have created a graphic with

the Beta release I need to use this version forever - what? I do not have the time to

test the Beta on a jocke base - I try to do all the things I usually do with my released

version. But I don't want to loose this stuff afterwards!

To be honest: I thought the times are over where my data is stuck in our application

version - let's do it better as Microsoft did it in the past, can't we?

    Regards,

    Stefan
