Regardless of its past performance, discovering the issue is my primary focus. I will proceed by adjusting the size and verifying whether the issue persists.
I did, still the same, keep crashing

@Sulaiman_ Please navigate to the Accessibility settings and attempt to adjust the display to a smaller scale in order to better fit your screen. Specifically, reducing the size of the text and other visual elements may resolve the display issues you are experiencing. I hope this suggestion proves helpful.
Actually, those settings are normal. It was a cropped screenshot.
the size is normal, and it works well before, and I didn't change it

Always crashed like this, even I’ve started a new fresh document

It's only a duplication of artboard, I duplicate artboard and change it a little bit, delete pic, adding text, moving object a little bit. And crashed, i've tried to make a new artboard instead of duplicating. Same crash. I've tried to copy artboard to a new file, the same crash. I don't know why, it works well before, the same scenario too. Duplicating artboard, even the previous project is a much bigger size and complexity.

Let me share an example: I was using a photo editing application to enlarge an image. Without thinking, I made a duplicate of that file and unknowingly began using it for a completely different design. Soon enough, the app began to malfunction, constantly crashing and displaying glitches. It was only then that I realized that the app was struggling to keep up with the previous canvas enlargement. In a stroke of intuition, I promptly deleted the troublesome file and started afresh. Like magic, everything returned to normal and the app was once again functioning flawlessly.

What version are you running? I’m running 2.2.0 (1931). The problem still persists for me.
Edit: I just installed iPadOS 17 Developer Beta 5, and now it’s working again, in the current public version of Affinity and the Beta version of Affinity. So apparently it was improved with the new iPadOS beta. 👍🏻
yep.. but is so f. slow loading the fonts

I am having the same issue on my M1 11” iPad Pro. I have the iPadOS 17 beta installed as well, so perhaps it’s a compatibility issue between the Affinity apps and iPadOS 17. The only workaround to this issue that I’ve discovered is typing the text I want with the font that I want to use in Pages, and then copying it and pasting it into Affinity in the Artistic Text tool. All of the fonts show up for me in Pages as usual, and when I paste the text into the Affinity apps, the font name even shows up in the text formatting toolbar. It just doesn’t show up in the font picker list when I try to select it within the Affinity apps. So that’s kind of a janky workaround, but it works, I can even edit the text just fine, and resize and everything else, so hopefully this is a fairly simple issue for Affinity to fix. I’m not really sure it’s a problem with just the iPadOS 17 beta though, because like I said before, the fonts show up in every other app they used to, just not the Affinity apps.
Sorry, how to do that..?
typing text in the Pages, could you please show me how to do that..?
Affinity Designer 2 for iPad is crashing and it’s not saving progress.
