Hey guys! I have noticed something with all three apps. The start screen (see below) doesn't follow to my 2nd screen where I run the apps. Everytime I load one of them and the program itself loads on screen two (Wacom Cintiq) the start screen is always on screen one (Apple Cinema Display). Pretty sure that's a bug.

Back in APh painting now and everything seems normal. I had a little lag in the beginning when I turned symmetry on. But no lag whatsoever after a little time...

Restarting file resets the performance again.

Seems like the longer I work on a given file the worse the performance gets. Now I can't even delete a simple line with the eraser.

I am on BigSur 11.7.9 and I am experiencing huge performance problems right down to AP crashing while opening a 2000x2000px file. After about 20 minutes of painting (just black and white) I have massive lagging when drawing lines. Now I wanna reopen the file, cause I thought restarting is fixing it, and it crashed again. Hope this helps

Hey Callum! I am using BigSur 11.7.9 and dragged the PNG-file (approx. 1MB) straight from my desktop! Photo is 2.1.1

… very often when I drag a simple image onto the icon in my desktop bar to open it via Photo. In those instances Photo has not been opened prior.

Hey guys! Here's a little suggestion for an improvement of the artboard navigation in your suite. Maybe you could color the uppermost layer/the artboard according to the assigned color or a darker tone as default. Here's a mock-up of what I mean: Keep up the good work!

Hey guys! I have seen that there's an integration for Dropbox in Publisher. While this is a great idea in general I found that Dropbox as a service lacks basic privacy features and is overall unsafe. That's why I use the Proton suite along with Proton Drive. Which brings me to my question/suggestion: Would a Proton Drive integration be possible/feasable for you?

Hey guys! This is my little love letter to your software suite. I absolutely adore it. Its usability and look and feel are absolutely spot on. And this is coming from a man who is using vector programs since 2002 (Freehand, anyone?). I even go so far as to advertise your suite on a regular basis in my lessons. Here in Germany I teach at two private design schools, the HTK academy and SAE School, and I am ((un-)fortunately) responsible for Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Since they're still industry standard. But I have stopped using them ever since I came across Affinity in my professional life and only use them because I teach them. I even went so far as to introduce a slide in my presentations where I talk about the respective alternative to each program because there're just too many benefits compared to Adobe. Who's only advantage is its market share, which they bought, not earned. I mostly teach fresh first and second semester students and I am happy to suggest to them a viable alternative very early on. In summary, please keep doing what you're doing and keep making a stand for ownership over continuous rental models like Adobe. Much love and support going out to the Affinity team! Hey guys! I got this case: I would like to draw a gradient from top to bottom but for some reason Affinity Publisher only draws the gradient from left to right on this 2pt-line. And I can not find the option to turn the gradient anywhere. It is probably totally obvious but for some reason I am blind. Thanks for your help on that rather simple issue…
