Hello.

When exporting an image to PNG, and then attempting to use the image within the slider of my WordPress site, the image is blurry. Not only blurry, but there's a color shift. What should be white appears as dingy gray.

I tried with Illustrator and the image appeared perfectly.

Can AD export without bluring?

[Another Problem I Have with Masks]

Here's another problem I have with masks that occurs.

I applied a Curves adjustment layer, inverted the mask, then began painting in white to reveal in areas where I want the effect to occur.

I've attached an image. Notice the hard, irregular edge.

My brush settings are as follows:

• Opacity: 100%
• Flow: 4%
• Hardness: 0%

I'm running AP 1.7.3.481 on Windows 7.

Is this a bug?

 

[Issue When Painting within a Mask]

Everything is as it should be. I'm painting with the BRUSH tool, I've selected black, and for a while, everything's fine, then all of a sudden nothing, when I attempt to paint, either nothing happens, or I get white (when I'm wanting to paint black).

Another problem: I'll be painting in a mask (when it works) and then suddenly the brush will be square and hardness at 100%. And no, I didn't change the brush.

Really regretting having deleted Photoshop from my system at this point, plus it's annoying you can't adjust a mask in channels with Levels!

I keep having issues with AP 1.7:

Though intermittent, sometimes when I want to modify a mask by painting with black, I'll select the paint brush, then when I attempt to paint, it'll paint in white (and yes, I have black selected as the color), or it won't paint at all, meaning nothing happens.

Has anyone else ran into this issue?

 

[Symbols Not Updating]

Hello.

I'm running Affinity Designer 1.7.3.481 on Windows.

I've created a document with a couple of symbols. When I attempt to add a new element to one of the symbols, the other instances are not reflecting the changes.

I have not Detached or Unsynced the symbols.

Is this an ongoing/known problem? I've attached my artboard file for review.
