[Why AF does not keep aspect ratio 16:9]

No they are not cropped. But when I open them in PS they are in 16/9 ratio and slightly cropped vertically. But in AP they are in 3/2 ratio. I. would. like 16/9 because I put them into Final Cut pro.

When I open raw files in AP it opens them, processes and then exports in aspect ratio 3/2. I want 16/9 and photoshop alway does 16/9. Why is that with AP?

So, here is my image after processing in AP, it's dimensions are 3957 × 2643::

 

Ans here is the same image processed in PS. I did nothing to change the aspect ratio but it's dimensions are 5315 × 2996:

 

So, as you can see, the image after PS is shorter. Regarding the left and right sides it captures exactly the same as in AF but on top and on bottom the PS image is reduced. This starts from the point of opening the raw file in Raw file utility of PS. I guess the AP gives me a more accurate ratio, but I wonder why is all that?

I am very new to AP, just now switched from PS. I am fiddling with the features and tools and I am a bit confused about the dimensions of the images, namely the width/height ratio. After processing in develop mode and then exporting as JPG, my images have quite different dimensions compared to the same raw file processed and saved as JPG in PS. In PS the images width to height ratio is greater than that in AP. Does anyone know why its that?
