Accessing (Downloading from) iCloud via Affinity Designer (Windows Desktop PC)

Recommended Posts

I am using the latest AD version (1.7.3.481) on a Windows desktop PC and have run into an issue, which may or may not have been answered somewhere here in the land of the Affinity Designer forum, so I apologies in advance...

The program works fine, but today when I attempted (3 times) to retrieve an image file from my iCloud account, the program instantly unloads so I have to restart the program...

If anyone else has experienced this and have found a solution, directing me to the thread or links would be appreciated...

Thank you...!

What do you mean by that? Are you talking about the app, a file, or something else; & where is whatever it is being uploaded to?

R-C-R, what RNKLN said... "unloads"... Or said another way,  "crashes", "removes itself from the desktop", "disappears", etc...

I tried downloading an image from my iCloud account to another graphics program I use and it did the same thing as it did when I attempted to download an image from my iCloud account to Affinity Designer: it "unloaded" itself from the desktop...

So... that leads me to think it is some sort of an issue with iCloud or some weird Microsoft setting on my computer that doesn't like iCloud... Who knows; I sure don't...

Anyway,, R-C-R, thanks for your feedback... If I do figure out what's going on with this issue I will post it here...
