walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, wlpha. The Help displays in the language you've chosen for the UI of the main application. I have always assumed (dangerous, I know) that that was intentional, and that the language changer should not appear when you invoke Help via F1 or the Help menu. As invoking it directly via the file system is not the intended method of getting help, it will be interesting to say what the Serif staff have to say about this Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
Staff Chris B Posted October 11, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 11, 2019 Hi wlpha, As Walt has said, changing the in-app Help can only be done by changing the language setting from Preferences. Opening the .html file will allow you to switch languages and you will have access to printing and copying. We've left out some of those buttons from the in-app Help on purpose. walt.farrell 1 Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
