Paul Bravery
Hi all, I've just noticed that if I set the default app to open .afdesign files to Affinity Designer, it also becomes the default to open .afphoto files and vice versa if I set the default for .afphoto files to Affinity Photo. Am I right in assuming this is because of the commonly shared code base & does this explain why the documents have generic icons instead of custom icons that readily identify them as .afphoto or .afdesign files? A_B_C
Oh yes, it would be soo great if that could be sorted out. I must confess I am suffering from this issue since the introduction of Affinity Photo on Lion … the right mouse button has become my best friend since then … but it is cumbersome … https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/5826-file-extensions-not-honoured/ Cheers, Alex :)
Staff Leigh Posted July 4, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 4, 2015 I can replicate this issue. Have replied to A_B_C's post in the bug section :) anon1
