HungryPanda
I downloaded a newer update I was notified of and every time I tried, it fails. I uninstalled completely the older, WORKING, version of both Designer and Photo, and both keep failing install. I deleted the updated exe files, downloaded them again, still failing to install. I'm getting very frustrated because I just want to use my programs and design something already! Any help is very much appreciated! Thank you. Staff Callum Posted October 10, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 10, 2019 Hi HungryPanda, Welcome to the forums I'm sorry to hear the app isn't installing for you. Please could you call up the run box by holding down the Windows key and tapping the letter R and then enter the following %temp%\AffinitySetup into the run box and click ok. This should open a folder, with some other folders in. Open the latest folder and there should be 2 log files, Setup.log and SetupUI.log. Please attach these two files to this thread this will allow me to look into this further for you. Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. HungryPanda
Thanks for responding Callum. I tried that but didn't call up anything but an error message. Please see attachment.
Staff Callum Posted October 11, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 11, 2019 Sorry there should be a space between %temp% and \affinitysetup. Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.

More likely, since it's in the system Temp folder, it's been deleted. I would suggest trying the install again and immediately after the failure looking for that directory. HungryPanda
So it may have been a Windows issue. I had just updated Windows last night and this morning I tried running the installer, and both Designer and Photo installed no problem! Thank you so much everyone for helping me out!
