filters: return to previous settings

It's possible with one click as long as you have the History panel open before you play with the settings :)

Or, though it's not a click, Ctrl+Z will reset the changes you made.

Obviously that is not a  smooth solution since the default is save without history and often a file is revisited after a period of time.

It should work fine in that case.

  1. Open a file, even without history saved.
  2. Click on an existing filter to change it.
  3. Make a change. That creates a History entry.
  4. Decide you don't like the change.
  5. Undo (via Ctrl+Z or the History panel) and you're back at step 1, before you made the change.
