JohaWeber
Hey there! So I upgraded my beta version from 1.7.3.x to 1.8.0.486 and tried to open a file - first I got the usual "Open non-Beta-document" dialogue - although this file was created with a beta version of Affinity Designer. After hitting either "Continue" or "Make Copy" I get an error dialogue (see attachements). Other documents which were created previously with the same 1.7.3.x beta version of AD open just fine in 1.8.0.486-b. Greetings, Joe
Staff Sean P Posted October 10, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 10, 2019 Hi Joe, I presume this same document opens fine the release version of 1.7.3? Would you be able to upload a copy of your file to our Internal Dropbox account using the link below please?https://www.dropbox.com/request/lJpsXBuZGZ21IUKyBeKK

JohaWeber
I recently created a file with the latest beta version of affinity designer (1.8.0.486) and got the same error dialogue when trying to reopen it a day later... ("The file includes features from a later version of Affinity Designer") Sean P

I'd be interested to see if you could capture the creation of a file that exhibits this on video, or a simple step by step recipe!
