DM1 Posted October 9, 2019 Share Posted October 9, 2019 Hi Tululum, that’s normal as you have drawn an 'open' shape. The fill doesn’t know where the boundaries for that shape are unless you close it. If you fill the other shape and place that shapes layer above the red layer it will hide the overlap. Alternatively you can draw closed shapes. Just use pencil or pen to draw a line from one end node to the other then adjust the shape to align with the boundary of the other shape using the node tool. Another option is to select all the shapes and use the geometry add function to join the shapes but you lose the boundary at the join. The screen capture shows how to close your shape. Select an end node, place a finger on screen and tap other end node. Now both are selected (blue). Tap Close in context menu. Use the node tool to adjust shape.
