[FAQ] The software requires a DirectX 10 compatible graphics card in order to run (Windows)

If you're seeing the message The software requires a DirectX 10 compatible graphics card in order to run when trying to run an Affinity app, it means that your graphics card doesn't support DirectX 10.

We would suggest that you have the latest graphics card drivers installed. If have and you're still getting this message, you can find out what version of DirectX your graphics card supports by pressing the Windows Key + R to bring up the Run dialog. Then type in dxdiag and press Enter - This will bring up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Click the Display tab and look at the Feature Levels or DDI version fields under the Drivers section - this will show you the level of DirectX your graphics card supports.
