LindaW
Image 1- Screen shot of Olympus raw file as displayed in Apple mac's Finder Image 2 - Screen shot of Olympus raw file opened in Affinity photo My issue is that, in Image 1, the blue above the black chest band of the bird is a mauve blue and is the correct colour as seen on the bird. In Image 2, it is a different shade of blue. The difference is immediately apparent after opening the file in Affinity Photo . The blue in Image 1 is the correct colour on the bird in real life. Can anyone explain why that particular shade of blue on the bird has changed in Affinity? I use an Apple iMac.
Staff Callum Posted October 8, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 8, 2019 Hi LindaW, Welcome to the forums, Please could you open your RAW image then go to View > Assistant manager and untick enable assistant then restart photo and re open your image. It should hopefully now appear the same as it does in Preview. firstdefence 1 Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. LindaW
Yes, that worked. The blue above the black band is now the correct shade of blue. Thanks so much Callum.
