gyan1
Hello, Affinity community! The past few weeks had troubles importing brushes into affinity photo or affinity designer. The new update has fixed the problem for the designer. For the affinity photo, the problem stays the same. The program gets hung up while importing any brush. Please help. Thanks Gyan
walt.farrell
The 1.7.3.481 update for Photo has fixed that problem for me, and (I believe) a number of other users. Are you sure you have that update applied? walt.farrell
When you say "stuck" what do you mean? What kind of brushes are you importing? Is it the same file that imports into Designer successfully? Can you provide the .abr file (assuming it's not one you purchased)? Staff Gabe Posted October 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2019 Hi all, Just like Walt, no problems importing the brush. Try this please: Close Photo. Navigate to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\ and rename 1.0 to 1.0.backup. Reopen photo.
