Divide Blend Mode, is it happening?

Hi Sullyman :)

AFAIK there are no immediate plans, but we never say never!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

Hum…
Not a 1 click solution but, following the first bit of that video;
New fill layer above image with the wanted sampled white colour. In this case from the earring or the dress in the second example.
Now invert this fill layer.
Set fill layer to Colour Dodge.

If we had access to the channels on the layer below in the procedural texture filter then I suppose we could create any blend mode.

In my limited playing with procedural textures, I can only see a way to reference the current layer.

I've asked several times but have not received an answer, will Affinity be adding a Divide blend mode?
