At first: Sorry about my bad English...

Affinity-Photo, remember Tool-Settings when switch to another Document?

For Example: i have opened 5 Photos.
I use the crop-Tool with the Settings: 40mm x 30mm, 300 dpi
I crop Image Nr 1 -> I goto Image Nr2 - MY SETTINGS I TYPED IN ARE LOST

I want to keep my settings, as long as I type in new measurements!

Its not funny to type the numbers over and over again...

Hi Mindmaze,

Welcome to the forums,

You can go to edit > defaults save to remember the default settings for some tools but not all at the moment I'm afraid. I think for your case you might be better off creating a crop preset. The below link details how to create crop presets. https://affinity.help/photo/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/SizeTransform/cropping.html?title=Cropping and straightening

Thanks

Callum, I can no longer save a crop preset as I used to.

I previously had a saved preset at 9:16 ratio, but had to re-install Affinity. now when I try to save a 9:16 ratio preset, the "create preset" option under mode is greyed out. Saving defaults didn't make a difference. Very frustrating to have to change the values every time.

That should mean there's already a 9:16 preset, or possibly a 16:9 preset. Photo seems to consider them the same, because from one you can easily get the other by rotating it.
