MaximeBrice
Hi, I cannot add a second style with the same fill and stroke colour to the 'styles'. I'm trying to save some styles to the styles menu. They have the same fill and stroke colours but they have a different dash length/pattern. So when I try to add a second one to the styles menu, it doesn't let me do that. I think AD sees this as a duplicate and therefor doesn't let me add it. Only when I change the the colour of it. Anyone out there who can help me out? Thanks Allan Windmill and duckrabbit
Staff Lee D Posted October 7, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2019 We are aware of an issue with the creation of styles with same stroke widths, this is logged with the developers. If you change the colour of one of the lines, it should create a new style. duckrabbit, Allan Windmill and MaximeBrice 2
ggatlanta
I've got a similar issue... maybe this is the same bug. I'm trying to create a library of strokes with each stroke being of variable width (think of a stroke and using the "Pressure Profile" on it). I can create a Style Category and add one of my custom strokes to it, but from then on, I cannot add any others. Another strange thing is that once a style is selected in the Styles Panel, it will remain selected even after deselecting the spline. If I make another document active then go back to my working doc, THEN it will be deselected. duckrabbit
duckrabbit
Same here! Glad the devs are looking into it… this should be put in the FAQ section. Is there any other workaround other than the 99% opacity trick? Is there a way to change the opacity settings in the exported file? (.afstyles file) … and then re-import it? I really need this to work as it costs me a lot of time & clicks.
Allan Windmill
For the moment the problem can be mediated by creating a new category.
