Brush creation: unable to "repeat" Body

I can active the Body option repeat with 2 PNG exported from AD:

Thanks for letting us know - it looks like this is being caused by the height of the image being greater than the width. The broken image was 32px wide by 33px tall! Was able to observe that with a newly created document.

I'll get it passed on to development.

The issue "New textured intensity brushes do not repeat with portrait images" (REF: AFD-2727) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1781".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
