Problem with Studio Link from Publisher

Recommended Posts

I have got all my software up to date and all version 1.7.3 - but the Studio Link isn't working consistently. When i am working in Publisher I can connect with Photos but I'm getting this message when i try to connect with Designer.

Am I doing something wrong?

thanks for your help, Chris

Have you started and exited Designer at least once? [Edit: Before you started Publisher.]

What store(s) did you purchase each of the applications from?

All purchased- and updated - from affinity website. And yes, I have started and exited Designer a couple of times now, trying to get this to work!

But have you quit & restarted Affinity Publisher since you started & quit Designer?

Also, I am not sure this is required anymore but are all three apps in the top level of the Applications folder, none in a subfolder of that folder or in any other folder?
