PatPaton
Hi all, I was wondering if it is on my side or not but after I installed the newest version of Affinity photo, all my plugins are not there anymore. Will I have to install all of them again? Is this normal and if so, wouldn't it be a good idea to automate re installation of existed plugins in users' previous versions? Thanks in advance for any help.
emmrecs01
@PatPaton Welcome to the Affinity forums. I'm running version 1.7.3.481 of APh (I believe the latest) under Win 10, 1809 and all my existing plugins continue to be listed, and usable, following the installation of this version. (Also true of latest beta, 1.8.0.486). So I'm not sure what has occurred on your machine but your loss of plug-ins is not, apparently, caused by the latest update of APh. Have you checked under Preferences>Photoshop Plugins that the correct directory for your plugins is listed, especially if you are not using the Default (C:\Program Data\Affinity\Photo\1.0\Plugins)? HTH Jeff Quote Win 10 Pro, i7 6700K, 32Gb RAM, NVidia GTX1660 Ti and Intel HD530 Graphics Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus. Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2. iPad Pro (12.9") (iOS 17.4) running Affinity Photo and Designer version 1 and all three version 2 apps. HTH Jeff Thank you for this Jeff! I use Mac but it could have been that my plugins weren't in the correct directory. I re installed them and they are all working and from now on I will pay attention if it was the case of incorrect directory, as I could have easily changed their location after installing them first time.
