nametag
Hi, I was wondering if there is a tool in Affinity Designer that would allow me to do what "Add Anchor Points" does in Illustrator (Object > Path > Add Anchor Points). Basically what I'm trying to do is add an anchor point directly between two anchor points on a shape. So, if I create a circle which has 4 anchor points, I'd like to turn it into a circle with 8 anchor points that are evenly spaced. Is there a way to do this? Thanks! Staff MEB Posted July 1, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 1, 2015 Hi nametag, No, there's no way to do it, but this was already requested by other users too. Maybe if you add your voice/feedback to those requests... I think it would also be nice to be able to select two nodes, and add a point between them, rather than all nodes. Could you point me in the direction of another thread where I can give my feedback? Thanks!
Staff MEB Posted July 6, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 6, 2015 Hi nametag, Sorry the delay replying to you. I'm sure this was already requested but i can't find the thread myself (maybe this was discussed in the middle of other thread as an off topic). In any case feel free to open a new thread in the requests section and fill a new request for it.
