Equivalent of "Add Anchor Points" in Illustrator

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a tool in Affinity Designer that would allow me to do what "Add Anchor Points" does in Illustrator (Object > Path > Add Anchor Points).

Basically what I'm trying to do is add an anchor point directly between two anchor points on a shape.  So, if I create a circle which has 4 anchor points, I'd like to turn it into a circle with 8 anchor points that are evenly spaced.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Hi nametag,

No, there's no way to do it, but this was already requested by other users too. Maybe if you add your voice/feedback to those requests...

Bumping this because it's a feature I'd really love to see! I think it would also be nice to be able to select two nodes, and add a point between them, rather than all nodes. Could you point me in the direction of another thread where I can give my feedback?

Thanks!
