Obviously, but it is still annoying. Most websites seem to be able to manage cookies without this intrusive reminder every time.

True. But to avoid the reminder, most users can just stay logged in. Perhaps the forum software designers didn't consider the use-case of a user who wants to be logged-in sometimes and not logged-in other times.

When I joined this forum, I assumed that, like some other forums, i could not simultaneously be logged i from both my desktop and my laptop. It seems that I can so there is no real reason not to stay logged in. Perhaps I will.
