move between layers?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to move up and down from a layer? My wacom table rarely allows me to click on a layer to switch layers. Most of the time I have to switch to using a mouse to change layers.

Ctrl/Cmd + ]

This moves the layers but does not select next/previous.

In Designer...

Select > Select Next   CTRL+ALT+] 
Select > Select Previous   CTRL+ALT+[

Thanks so much this is fabulous!

I set your shortcuts up on wacom touch pad, a bit of a pain because it cycles through 4 items. Maybe I could use 2 for brush size and 2 for cycling thru layers–brilliant ; )

On imac same as AD In Designer...

Select > Select Next   Cmd+ALT+]

You can cycle through brushes by clicking on a brush and then hold Option down and the down arrow to scroll through them.

Doesn't work for me with wacom or mouse or both.

Try Cmd, although it works both ways for me.

In AP doesn't work. What does is with brush selected, or anything else I imagine, click the current layer which Wacom allows me to do the command up arrow or down arrow. I have to be on a layer though.

It also lets me cycle threw brush panel. wonder what else?
