chrisshroba
You know how when you click and drag it will draw a rectangle selection area and select everything completely in that rectangle? Is it possible to do that on an object without selecting the object itself? For example, let's say I have a rectangle that takes up the entire page as a background, and i have several small circles in the middle of the page. If I'm zoomed in where I can't see the edges of the big rectangle, is it possible for me to select all the circles using the click-and-drag selection tool? (Rather than just selecting them individually by holding shift) Thanks!
Staff MEB Posted July 1, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 1, 2015 Hi chrisshroba, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Yes it's possible. Press ⌥ (option/alt) and drag the marquee around the objects you want to select. The background object will not be selected.
