Lines at an angle

Is there a way to know the angle of a drawn line? At the moment I have to rotate it to the horizontal position to see what angle it rotated from. There is no idication of this in the Transform tab.

Until such time when there IS an angle measuring tool, have a look a Resources section,
I put two types of protractor in there as asset.

If you followed the link in @catlover’s post you should have seen three search results. Her latest protractor (and ruler) files are here:

In AFDesign: View > Studio > Assets > Import into Assets.
The ruler-assets are also still included, because I made this set before the ruler-issues were solved.
Not to worry,though, just delete them from the assets if you don't want them.

When I import the assets into the current version of AD, all I can see is the "How to" instruction sheet. Maybe the assets are no longer compatible with 1.7.2.471?

Hi Roger C,
The assets are all there but they are hard to see in the Assets panel because they are composed by dark thin lines and are barely visible against the dark background. If you click the menu icon in the top right of the panel and select/tick Show As List you should be able to see their names at least.

This is what I have been saying about the poor dark colour chosen for the interface. Its the same with 'Close' X in the opned files that is very hard to see. Whats wrong with having a better contrast so things can be seen more clearly. Its the same with object icons in the layers! Unless they are chunky they cant be seen. What's the point of doing it if they cant be seen?

Ah yes, the protractors are in the assets folder; they were just obscured by a bit of screen glare! They work well and are a great resource.
