Editing library images - can they be downloaded?

If by "photo library" you mean images stored in the Photos app in macOS and by "photoshop" you mean Affinity Photo. Then yes, in the Photos app, select to Edit, click on the 3 dots icon and select Edit in Affinity Photo (this does require the Affinity Photo extensions to be enabled in System Preferences > Extensions). Another way is to right click the image select Edit With and then select Affinity Photo from the list.

I thought that was currently broken because the file is never sent back to the Apple Photos app from Affinity Photo. Am I wrong about that?

That's what I meant. Affinity Photo can't send the edit back to Apple Photos, right?

Hi Lee

Thanks for responding. I don't think I made myself clear. I was talking about the library photos in the 'stock' tab we can drag and drop onto the page. But since I posted this I noticed the 'Open Stock URL' button in the top menu (Doh!). Just one other question is it possible to view the colour space of each image in a list. I looked at the resource manager and it shows placement, file size etc, but not colour space. I see that AP will convert images to CMYK on export to PDF, but I prefer doing the conversions myself. Unless, of course, the conversion is excellent. But I'm still new to this and haven't tried it yet.
Chris
