Recent files list

Affinity offers a list of recent files,

including files that are currently unavailable, which the user knows only when they click on it.

At the same time, removal this file from the list is also offered.

It would be nice if:
- currently unavailable files would not be enabled (is grayed), because why choose a file that is equally unavailable,
- In addition to clear the entire list (menu item Clear), allow clear only unavailable files (add menu item Clear unavailable).

To do that, Affinity would have to check all the files before displaying the list. That can take a significant amount of time for files on network drives, and might lead users to think the program was hung.

But as I pointed out, not one to be done in real time when the user asks for the list. It's bad enough when I go to open a specific network file and the drive has to spin up. If that had to happen for files on several different network drives I could wait perhaps 30 seconds or more before the list would populate. I would rather get the list quickly, and only have the delay if I choose something that's on a network drive.
