Export to pdf/X-4

Hello, 

 

I cannot export the file to pdf/x-4. I get an error message. I have the same problem with all files containing transparencies. Once I remove the transparency, the export goes without any problems. Normally the pdf/x-4 should support the use of transparency. What is the problem?

Hi Denise Richard,

Welcome to the forums

I've run your file through a PDF logging app and the following is what's causing the export to fail:

'["Device class 'abst' in ICC profile '/Serif/profile/CIELAB D50' not supported in PDF"]'

Your embedded logo on page 1 is in colour format LAB D50 and this isn't supported. If you double click the logo to edit it separately, convert the document to CMYK and then export your PDF again, you should find that it exports as expected - I hope this helps!
