Eddy-2
Version 1.7.2.471 I have one Artboard in the document. I follow the instructions to insert an Artboard with Size set to 'Selection'. When I click Insert Artboard, an Artboard appears directly on top of the original. Can the second Artboard be slightly offset to confirm the action? Staff Dan C Posted September 23, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 23, 2019 Hi Eddy-2 When creating a new Artboard using the 'Selection' option, it will always draw the artboard over your current selection, meaning if you have an object selected on an existing artboard, this is where the new one will be drawn. If you use the 'Document' option it will always draw the new artboard offset horizontally from the original. I'll move your post to our Feedback section for the devs to see and consider this, as I can certainly see how offsetting the new artboard from the original could be useful. Eddy-2
Thanks Dan. Although I discovered the Document option after I'd posted, I still think an offset for Selection mode would be useful. Not having it creates a 'stop and think' moment.
