effects on layers and ... effect in pdf print

Recommended Posts

Hello,
maybe someone will tell me what's going on here ...
the results can be seen in the preview, but something different in the pdf with the print settings :-)

You can apply effects, but you cannot print them correctly - what are they for in such a program, in which mainly the materials for printing are prepared? That's a question for the Affinity team.

I changed the pdf settings and always got the wrong pdf.
It helps to change the whole image to tiff ... but that's probably not the point.

Greetings to all

Hi radek108 :)

Thanks for your report, this is a known issue where Live Adjustment layers aren't correctly being written when exporting to PDF. This is logged with development and we hope to have it fixed shortly.

In the meantime the workaround is to rasterise the layer(s) once you have completed the project and consider keeping a backup prior to rasterising the object if you need to go back and edit it until we have fixed the bug - apologies for any inconveniences caused.

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
