Switch license from Affinity store to Windows store

I bought all 3 Affinity Windows products directly from you, because I didn't know there was a Windows store option. Windows store updates are so much more convenient than a) open app, b) see 'update' message, c) click link and wait for download, d) launch downloaded file, e) click 'yes, update' button, e) click 'done' button.

I have a bunch of Windows store apps, and they all get updated for me without fuss (just like my two Affinity iPad apps do).

PLEASE let me switch licenses without buying all 3 apps again!

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, Wayne.

From what we've seen, Serif currently doesn't allow that, and they have not shown any signs of considering it.

I've seen some advantages to purchasing directly from Serif. For one, it's easier to interface to the Affinity applications from other software that supports external editors. For another, you can downgrade to an earlier release of the program if you don't like the results after an upgrade to a newer release. It's also easier to install on additional computers used by family members who have different Windows Store login accounts. And it may be easier to get new updates if you move to a different part of the world, which uses a different Windows Store. But it's possible none of those is important to you.

But if you still want to switch, and if you purchased within the last 14 days, you could make use of Serif's 14-day money-back return policy, and repurchase from the Windows Store. If you qualify and want to do that, you can email affinityreturns@serif.com to begin the process.
